Kickin' sand around the pit
When you surpass your previous season's win total in Week 7, before you've even reached the halfway point of the current season, it means....well, it mostly means you had a crappy record last season. But it also signals improvement, at least in the W-L columns, and that's what it's all about, right?
So kudos to coach Raheem Morris and his Tampa Bay Buccaneers who as of this moment occupy a higher position in the standings than Who Dat? None other than the world champion New Orleans Saints, Dat Who.
And while we wait to see how it all shakes out in the end, I wonder if the people who were ready to run Morris out of town a year ago would support signing him to a contract extension now?
