Our friends over at the SB Nation Buccaneers blog chimes in on Tanard Jackson’s suspension:
With the unfortunate loss of a budding Tanard Jackson, the secondary may very well struggle fervently the rest of the season. Opposing offenses are going to test Grimm intensely, and his failure would make that position an immediate crisis if it isn’t already.
The plight of the defense will require players on both sides to show up, and especially a great deal of offense in an attempt to compensate.

TAMPA - According to reports from PewterReport and ESPN's Adam Schefter, the NFL has suspended Buccaneers safety Tanard Jackson for at least one season, for violating the league's Substance Abuse Program.
This would be Jackson's second offense as he began last season serving a four-game suspension for violating the same policy.
The suspension will be in effect until Sept. 21, 2011, so Jackson would miss the first two games of next season as well. Jackson's has started every game for the Buccaneers since being drafted and will give way to two young inexperienced replacements, Cody Grimm and Corey Lynch.
