We heard during the off-season that part of the Tampa Bay Lightning's ongoing St. Petersburg Times Forum renovations would be real lightning inside the building. Presumably during pre-game intros and any time the good guys put a puck in the net. Awesome, right?

Well now we can see it in action, as a youtube video has surfaced of apparent testing of the newly installed Tesla Coil. Watch, marvel, and enjoy! (after the jump...)

I cant wait till this bad boy backfires and strikes the some of those stinking Florida Panthers. (I kid, I kid!) I was already excited to check out the Forum renovations next week and now even more so. The work this team is doing for the arena, in the community, and their awesome promotions is really impressive to watch. Lets Go Bolts!
