LeBron James Goes Marlin Hunting

Last night against the Los Angeles Lakers, the Miami Heat's LeBron James deflected a pass intended for Jason Kapono and circled around to chase after the ball as it bounced towards the sideline. James didn't get to the ball in time, and when he collided with Kapono, he ended up running over a fan sitting courtside.

It was no ordinary fan, though -- it was Miami Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria.

The 265-pound James almost knocked Loria's chair completely over with Loria still sitting in it. Somehow he grabbed hold as the chair was leaning back and pulled Loria and the chair back upright. No one was injured.

My only suggestion to LeBron is that if he really wanted to go after something associated with the Marlins, he should start with what they're going to make Billy the Marlin wear this season.

(Hat tip to TheSportsEntertainer for the video, and to Jonah Keri for calling attention to it and recognizing the fan LeBron nearly bowled over.)
