The Savannah State Tigers will take on the Florida A&M Rattlers Saturday night in Bragg Memorial Stadium.
The Florida A&M Rattlers will be attempting to win their third game of the 2012 season against a fellow MEAC member, the Savannah State Tigers.
The Rattlers are looking to right the ship after losing their previous two games against the Howard Bison and Southern Jaguars. Florida A&M (2-4, 2-1) had success last weekend through the air, with Damien Fleming completing 26-of-41 pass attempts for 228 yards to accompany a touchdown and interception.
However, the Rattlers couldn't generate anything on the ground. Florida A&M gained just 37 yards on 26 carries for a 1.4 average.
The good news for Florida A&M is struggling Savannah State (0-5, 0-3) is next on the schedule. The Tigers have had a brutal season thus far, including a 45-6 loss to the Morgan State Bears, a 56-9 defeat at the hands of Howard and a 81-0 hammering by the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
The Tigers have only scored in double digits once, putting up 33 points against the North Carolina Central Eagles on Sept. 22.
