The Florida A&M Rattlers will host the South Carolina State Bulldogs on Saturday in a MEAC showdown.
The Florida A&M Rattlers are coming off a 44-3 whitewashing of the Savannah State Tigers, and now host the South Carolina State Bulldogs in Bragg Memorial Stadium on Saturday night.
Florida A&M has had an inconsistent year with a 3-4 record. The Rattlers, however, are playing very well in the MEAC, posting a 3-1 mark good for second place.
Last week, Florida A&M posted an astounding 612 total yards, including 323 of the rushing variety. Eddie Rocker had a terrific day, gaining 173 yards on the ground to accompany a touchdown.
South Carolina State (2-5, 1-3) hasn't been playing as well lately, losing its last two contests to the North Carolina Central Eagles and Delaware State Hornets.
The Bulldogs' defense has been a problem for most of the campaign, allowing a minimum of 27 points in five of their seven games.
