Florida State vs. Duke score: Seminoles lead 31-7 at half

At the end of the first half, the No. 12 Florida State Seminoles lead the Duke Blue Devils 31-7 in Tallahassee.

After establishing a 17-point lead by the end of the first quarter, Florida State tacked on two touchdowns to extend the lead to 31. The first score came on a James Wilder Jr. 1-yard rush to cap a three-play, 60-yard drive. The second was on a 9-yard touchdown rush by Devonta Freeman.

Wilder, Freeman, and Lonnie Pryor have been effective runners for Florida State so far, combining for 102 yards on 16 carries. Each is averaging more than 5 yards per rush thus far.

Duke's Jela Duncan scored on a 3-yard rush to finish an impressive 90-yard touchdown drive by the Blue Devils, but those would be the only points the team would score in the half.

Florida State will receive the ball to begin the second half.
