Florida Atlantic will attempt to pull off the upset Saturday against Western Kentucky.
The Florida Atlantic Owls are trying to secure their third win of the season against the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers on Saturday afternoon at Smith Stadium in Sarasota, Fla.
It hasn't been an easy year for Florida Atlantic, which comes into the contest with a 2-7 mark, including a 1-4 record in the Sun Belt conference. The team has ultimately been undone by an offense that just can't muster much production. Overall, it ranks 118th in the nation by scoring just 18.2 points per game.
One of the few true weapons on offense has been senior quarterback Graham Wilbert, who has connected on 12 touchdowns against just three interceptions.
Western Kentucky (6-3, 3-2) comes into the contest after losing to the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders 34-29 last weekend at home. The Hilltoppers will certainly rely on their ground game, which is led by junior back Antonio Andrews. The youngster has rushed for 1,053 yards on the year and seven touchdowns.
