The Florida Gators aren't having a great day on the field against the UL-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns, but they've managed to extend their lead to 13-3 as they enter the fourth quarter.
Caleb Sturgis made a chip shot 21-yard field goal on Florida's first drive of the second half to extend their lead to 13-3. However, ULL took their next drive 77 yards in nine plays before Alonzo Harris punched it into the end zone from two yards out to make it 13-10. The turning point of the game may have been on the next drive, where Kyle Christy had his punt blocked, and Blake Comminie returned it 22 yards for a touchdown to give the Ragin' Cajuns a 17-13 lead.
Jeff Driskel has left the game with an apparent injury, and Jacoby Brissett is playing in his place. Driskel is 13-or-18 for 98 yards and a touchdown, and also has 77 rushing yards.
The Florida Gators and UL-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns are locked in a struggle in Gainesville, but the Gators scored a touchdown right before halftime to take a 10-3 lead. Jeff Driskel connected with Trey Burton for a two yard touchdown pass with seven seconds left in the period. Florida struggled to move the ball for most of the half, but marched 87 yards on nine plays to take the lead. Florida capitalized on a ULL fumble to take an early 3-0 advantage, but the Ragin' Cajuns kicked a field goal of their own later in the first quarter.

Miami's defense has been unable to stop Virginia on third down so far, as the Cavaliers are a perfect 5-for-5 on third down conversions.
The Florida Gators are tied with the Louisiana-Lafeyette Ragin' Cajuns 3-3 after one quarter in Gainesville. Florida opened the scoring with a 38 yard Caleb Sturgis field goal less than five minutes into the game. The drive started at the ULL 28 yard line after a Harry Peoples fumble was recovered by the Gators. ULL answered with a 49 yard field goal from Brett Baer with 4:33 left in the quarter to tie the game.
The offenses have been mostly quiet so far. Neither team has amassed more than 100 yards of total offense, and have had a hard time stringing long drives together. In fact, both teams have combined for only three first downs through the first 15 minutes. ULL has the longest play of the day, a 49 yard pass from Terrance Broadway to Darryl Surgent, which lead to their field goal.
