JU Vs. Butler 2012: TV Schedule, Game Time, Spread And More

Stay connected for news and updates

After losing starter Kade Bell to a knee injury, the Jacksonville University Dolphins will take on the Butler Bulldogs with sophomore Trevius Folston under center.

The 6-2 Jacksonville University Dolphins and the 7-2 Butler Bulldogs face off on Sunday, with the Dolphins trying to bounce back from a 24-7 loss to the San Diego Toreros.

The Dolphins will have to contend with the No. 10 offense in the FCS. Butler is averaging 466 yards per game, well ahead of Jacksonville's 362. The Dolphins have the edge on defense, holding opponents to an average of 325 yards per game, though that's not much better than Butler's average of 366 yards. Two turnovers cost the Dolphins against San Diego, just the latest in 21 giveaways this year. They'll need to watch that against Butler, who have 14 takeaways on the year.

Trevius Folston will be under center for the Dolphins. The sophomore entered the game against San Diego when Kate Bell went down with a knee injury. That knee injury turned out to be a third-degree MCL tear, handing the starting job to Folston. He went 23 for 44 for 186 yards on Saturday, and the Dolphins running game wasn't up to carrying the team. They collected only 90 yards on 30 attempts.
