Missouri vs. Florida 2012 score update: Gators even score heading into 4th

The Florida Gators evened the score at seven apiece with the Missouri Tigers in the third quarter on an Omarius Hines touchdown run.

The scoring drive took only two plays after the Gators received good field position on a Tigers' punt from their own end zone. Hines ran 36 yards, delivering the first big play of the day for Florida against a stingy Missouri defense.

After getting into the red zone again, the Tigers couldn't score their second touchdown and settled for a field goal attempt. However, just as Missouri did to Florida, the Gators blocked the 25-yard kick by Andrew Baggett.

On its following possession, Florida lined up and appeared to be going for its second fourth-and-one in its own half of the field, before being penalized for a false start and punting away. Missouri drove the ball down the field before the Gators defense intercepted quarterback James Franklin for the second time on the day.
