Magic point guard Jameer Nelson won't play in Orlando's Friday night matchup with the Brooklyn Nets.
According to John Denton of OrlandoMagic.com, Nelson has a sore left achilles' tendon.
Nelson is averaging 13.0 points, 5.6 assists and 4.6 rebounds per game while shooting 40.2% from this season.
Nelson will be replaced by E'Twaun Moore. Moore is averaging 10.9 points, 3.4 assists and 2.9 rebounds per game while shooting 43.0% from the field and 42.6% from beyond the arc (3'Twaun!). Moore has made six started this season.
