Colts vs. Jaguars score update: Pick-six extends Indianapolis lead to 24-3

Any chance that the Jaguars would begin the second half with a rally to make up for a 17-3 halftime deficit was erased with an interception from Blaine Gabbert to Darius Butler just over four minutes into the third quarter that gave the Colts a 24-3 lead.

On the next drive Gabbert responded with a 52-yard pass play to Cecil Shorts III, but it was a play in yet another drive that ultimately stalled and resulted in no points for the Jaguars. Gabbert was sacked and a holding penalty dropped the Jaguars out of field goal range and they were forced to punt.

To begin the fourth quarter, the Colts have the ball in Jaguars territory and are threatening to score yet again. Down three scores with the NFL's worst offense, the odds of the Jaguars coming back to earn a Week 10 victory are already very slim. Any score by the Colts would essentially eliminate that chance.

Colts vs. Jaguars score update: Indianapolis takes 17-3 lead to locker room

After the Jaguars kept it close in the first quarter, they gave up two rushing touchdowns to Andrew Luck and allowed the Colts to get a 17-0 lead before a 40-yard field goal by Josh Scobee cut the lead to 17-3.

The second of the two rushing touchdowns by Andrew Luck came on a fourth and goal that was very close to the goal line. After a mandatory scoring review from the booth, the ruling on the field stood as called and caused an irate Mike Mularkey to throw his headset and play card onto the field.

The Jaguars nearly gave up another score, but Dawan Landry managed to come down with an interception deep in Jaguars territory and set the team up for a late drive. Repeatedly throwing to Laurent Robinson, Blaine Gabbert led the team into Colts territory but was unable to come away with a touchdown and settled for a field goal.

Colts vs. Jaguars score update: Indianapolis up 3-0 after first quarter

In the first quarter both teams managed a drive into the opposing team's territory and both were forced to a field goal. However, Adam Vinatieri of the Colts managed to make his 31-yard field goal to put the road team up 3-0, while Josh Scobee's 44-yard attempt went wide right.

Similar to their Week 9 loss to the Lions, the Jaguars began the game with two consecutive three-and-outs before finally managing a drive into Colts territory on their third drive. The drive was aided by the play of Marcedes Lewis who had three receptions for 36 yards in the first quarter.

The Jaguars gave up several first downs to the Andrew Luck-led offense in the first quarter, but managed to stop the Colts from scoring with a sack from Tyson Alualu in the red zone on third down to force a Vinatieri field goal. Late in the quarter Luck appeared to throw an interception, but a roughing the passer penalty on Terrance Knighton extended the drive.
