SB Nation's Miami Dolphins blog, The Phinsider, reacts to the team's loss against the San Francisco 49ers.

The Miami Dolphins traveled out west to take on the San Francisco 49ers and while the team competed for most of the game, Ryan Tannehill and the offense couldn't hang in there for the full 60 minutes to come out with a victory, instead falling by the score of 27-13.

Having cut the lead to one possession, the Dolphins couldn't connect on any of their passing plays with a fresh set of downs late in the fourth quarter inside 49ers territory. Instead, Miami turned the ball over to San Francisco and the 49ers iced the game with a touchdown.

Kevin Nogle of SB Nation's Miami Dolphins blog, The Phinsider, reacted to the loss with disappointment. Noting the Dolphins once against competed against a top team in the league, but could not escape the game with a win.

The MIami Dolphins have once again found a awy to lose to one of the NFL's top teams, despite staying close most of the game. Miami cannot put 60 minutes of football together lately, and the results mean the team has lost five of their last six games.

The Dolphins fall to 5-8 on the season and will head back home to prepare to host the visiting Jacksonville Jaguars. But this loss likely means the end of Miami's playoffs aspirations for this season, even if they can win out.
