Maurice Jones-Drew, the team's leading rusher, is one of four players injured in the Jaguars backfield this week.

Seven Jacksonville Jaguars missed practice Wednesday, according to the team's injury report. The players who sat out included running back Rashad Jennings (concussion), fullback Greg Jones (thigh), running back Maurice Jones-Drew (foot), defensive back Dwight Lowery (foot), center Brad Meester (foot), cornerback Aaron Ross (calf) and running back Jordan Todman (calf). Two other Jaguars were limited in their practice participation due to concussions. The availability of these players remains uncertain for Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins.

Despite not playing since Oct. 21, Jones-Drew leads the Jaguars in rushing with 414 yards. Jacksonville has gone 1-6 without Jones-Drew, and no other running back on the team has been able to replace him. The highest rushing output by a single since Jones-Drew's injury was Montell Owens' 91 yards in a 17-10 loss to the New York Jets last weekend.

Lowery has 29 tackles on the season despite missing nearly a month and a half with a foot/ankle injury.
