College basketball schedule: Florida visits Kansas St.

Casey Sapio-USA TODAY Sports

The Florida Gators face a tough test on Saturday against a strong Kansas State squad.

Florida at Kansas State

The Florida Gators will look for their second win in a row following their only loss, which came against No. 8 Arizona. Florida (8-1) has played excellent defense all season, allowing an average of just 49.6 points through nine games. The Wildcats (8-2) will be a tough test for Florida and are undefeated at home. Kansas State's only losses this season have come on the road against then-No. 2 Michigan and No. 14 Gonzaga. The only other time these teams met was in 2010, when Florida defeated then-No. 6 Kansas State, 57-44.

Florida State at Charlotte

The Florida St. Seminoles are coming off two big wins, and will look to knock off a relatively-untested Charlotte squad. Florida State hopes to get Michael Snaer back on Saturday. The senior guard is the team's leading scorer (14.2 PPG), but did not play in the Seminoles' most recent game against Louisiana-Monroe. The 49ers (11-1) have faced only one other ACC opponent this season, Miami, who handed Charlotte its lone loss last weekend. Charlotte has held opponents to just 60.1 points per game so far this season.
