Magic make it two in a row, take down Warriors 102-94

The Orlando Magic followed up their emotional win over Dwight Howard and the Los Angeles Lakers Sunday night with another road victory, this time over the 10-7 Golden State Warriors.

For the second consecutive night, the Magic owned the fourth quarter, outscoring the Warriors 33-25 in the final period (They outscored the Lakers 40-26 in the fourth quarter Sunday).

The Magic again showed off the ball movement that general manager Rob Hennigan talked about throughout the summer, assisting on 29 of their 40 field goals.

The Magic shot 43.2% from the field, hit eight three-pointers and went 14-of-16 from the charity stripe. The Warriors shot 45.7% from the field (37-of-81), hit seven three-pointers and went 13-of-18 from the free throw line. The key to the game may have been the turnover battle. The Magic turned it over eight times while the Warriors gave it away 14 times, leading to 23 Magic points.

Glen Davis (10-of-20 from the field) and Arron Afflalo (9-of-16) each had 24 points for the Magic while J.J. Redick broke out of his recent slump, scoring 22 points on seven-of-13 shooting. Redick also dished out seven assists and grabbed five rebounds. Nikola Vucevic had 14 points and a career-high 15 rebounds.

Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 25 points on nine-of-21 shooting and former Florida Gator David Lee had 22 points and nine rebounds.

The Magic will be in action again Wednesday when they take on the Jazz in Utah.
