Ja Wand Blue (OLB), a consensus three-star recruit from Boca Raton, has officially faxed in his letter of intent to the University of Miami. Previously thought to have a solid verbal commitment to Virginia Tech University, Blue visited the University of Miami last weekend and apparently had a change of heart.

According to the Miami Herald’s Manny Navarro, Virginia Tech’s Head Coach Frank Beamer was surprised by Blue’s last minute decision, telling the athletic outside-linebacker “you lied to me.”

The 6’0", 215 lb linebacker is just the latest addition to a tremendous incoming class for Al Golden’s Hurricanes, who finally look to put the Nevin Shapiro scandal behind them at last.
