The Florida State Seminoles lead the Virginia Tech Hokies by two points after an ugly first half at the Donald L. Tucker Center on Thursday night. It was a slow-paced twenty minutes and the Noles were plagued by nine turnovers, which kept the lowly Hokies in the game. Va. Tech is just 3-7 in the conference but we've already seen FSU put it in cruise control against the bottom of the conference and get caught at Boston College.
It was a super slow half, and the Noles put only 22 shots up. They've hit four of nine attempts from behind the arc, but again, the turnovers didn't help put any distance between themselves and the Hokies. Ian Miller led Leonard Hamilton's club with six points off the bench.
