Stay connected for news and updates

The Miami Hurricanes started the second half quickly after entering halftime tied 34-34 with Wake Forest. The Canes began the second half with a 24-10 run to jump out to a big lead over the Demon Deacons. The Canes continued to build on to that lead and just pounded Wake Forest in the second half of the game. Kenny Kadji ended the day with 18 points and 5 rebounds while Durand Scott also finished up with 18 points and 7 rebounds.

The Deacons just couldn't get their offense going in the second half enough to catch up after the Hurricanes jumped out to a big lead. C.J. Harris led the Deacons in scoring at halftime with 10 points, but he scored just four more points in the second half to end the day leading Wake Forest in scoring with 14 points. Chase Fisher added on 12 points in the loss for the Deacons.
