2012 Women's NCAA Tournament: Miami Gets No. 3 Seed

The University of Miami Hurricanes women's basketball team learned their status for the 2012 Women's NCAA tournament when the bracket was released on Monday evening. Miami earned the No. 3 seed in the Kingston regional.

Miami will face No. 14 Idaho State in the opening round of play. That game is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on March 17. It will take place in Spokane, WA.

If the Hurricanes win, they will face the winner of the No. 6 Rutgers versus No. 11 Gonzaga game.
