The PGA Tour is still in Florida this week at the Transitions Championship and Padraig Harrington is the leader after Day 1.

The PGA Tour continues their early season Florida swing this weekend and will be in Palm Harbor at Copperhead. Television coverage for Friday starts at 3 pm on the Golf Channel.

The story after day one was Padraig Harrington and his first round birdie-fest. Harrington has a three-stroke lead after the first round after firing a ten-under par 61. It was a remarkably consistent round in it's excellence, he didn't have a single bogey and registered 10 birdies, going 5-under par on each side. He is being chased by Will Claxton (-7), Jason Bohn and Cameron Tringale (both -5).

We'll have plenty more on this tournament throughout the weekend on SB Nation Tampa Bay, so keep it locked to this StoryStream for all the latest news and updates. For more information on this and every golf event, you can head over to Waggle Room, SB Nation's golf blog, or the Golf hub page.
