The Florida Gators can spoil Kentucky's perfect regular season at home on Sunday afternoon.
The Florida Gators are the only thing standing between the Kentucky Wildcats and a perfect regular season, but the last time the two teams faced off the Wildcats pounded the Gators in Kentucky. This time, the Gators get the Wildcats at home and are looking to snap their two-game losing streak. Florida has limped out of the last two games dealing with the loss of Will Yeguete, the Gators have struggled in the paint and with size, which could spell bad news against the Wildcats.
In the first meeting between the two teams, the Wildcats beat Florida 78-58 and the game wasn't nearly as close as the score. Kentucky just pounded Florida all game and the Gators just couldn't keep up and couldn't shoot. The Wildcats forced Florida to take bad shots, shooting just 22.2 percent from three-point land and just 34.9 percent overall. Now, the Gators will look to upset Kentucky without Yeguete, which won't be an easy task.
