The Florida Panthers finally return to the postseason on Friday night, hosting Game 1 in their first-round series against the New Jersey Devils.
The Florida Panthers begin their quest for the Stanley Cup on Friday night in Sunrise, hosting the No. 6 seed New Jersey Devils. The Cats and Devils are the last series to start, with the puck scheduled to drop at 7:00 p.m. -- the first of four playoff games, with the subsequent three all at crucial Game 2.
While the Cats may be the home team and No. 3 seed, the Devils played in the ultra-competitive Atlantic Division and finished the season with eight more points than your Southeast Division Champions. The Cats will no doubt rely heavily on playoff veteran goaltender Jose Theodore. It's an exciting time for hockey fans in South Florida, and it all begins Friday night. Game Date & Time: Friday, April 13th, 7:00 p.m. ET
