The hits just keep on coming for the Rays, who now head from Detroit to Boston for a weekend series against the Red Sox.

The Tampa Bay Rays are coming off a tough series against the Detroit Tigers that saw them drop two of three, and things don't get any easier as they now head to Boston for a four game set against the division rival Boston Red Sox. The first game is on Friday and has an odd 2:05 start time. You can find the game on Sun Sports and the MLB Network.

The Rd Sox are having an uncharacteristic start to their season, stumbling out of the gates at just 1-5. They started poorly last year as well, then played as well as any team in Baseball over a two month span. Is that scenario going to play out again in 2012? Is there a sleeping giant at Fenway? The Rays will find out starting on Friday afternoon.

We'll have plenty more on this series throughout the weekend here on SB Nation Tampa Bay, so keep it locked to this StoryStream for all the latest news and updates.
