The South Florida Bulls might just be picking up a very important transfer in the form of Notre Dame defensive end Aaron Lynch.

The University of South Florida football team is on the verge of picking up a big time talent, as Notre Dame defensive end Aaron Lynch has been granted a transfer release to talk to the Bulls staff about a potential transfer, according to Voodoo Five. Lynch is from Fort Meyers originally, and never really considered the Bulls coming out of high school because he was a near-consensus top ten talent. But he is trying to get back closer to home, and the Bulls certainly provide that. Here is Voodoo Five with a little more on what Lynch's transfer could mean for South Florida.

More importantly, Lynch could be the type of high profile player that could sway some of the top talent in the Tampa Bay area to take a closer look at USF. Skip has talked about building a wall and keeping the top local talent at home since arriving at USF, but most of the higher ranked players still leave and go elsewhere. Its not a guarantee that he would be the tipping point, but it would be a big start.

Lynch started six games for Notre Dame last year where he had seven tackles for a loss and five sacks.
