At this point, the Florida Panthers are one game away from punching their ticket to the second round of the NHL Playoffs. Facing the New Jersey Devils in Game 5 on Saturday at the BankAtlantic Center, the host Panthers, who entered the playoffs as the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference, cruised with relative ease to a 3-0 victory.
Holding a 1-0 lead entering the final period, Florida took a comfortable two-goal lead after right winger Scottie Upshall found the back of the net around the 13-minute mark of the period. Here's a closer look at Upshall's goal.
Florida, however, didn't stop there, fellow right winger Tomas Kopecky shorthanded a last-minute goal, to further the Panthers' lead over the No. 6-seeded Devils.
