2012 Frozen Four: How Boston College Got This Far

The Boston College Eagles enter this weekend's Frozen Four as the overall top seed in the NCAA Hockey Tournament. They hold a record of 31-10-1 and have not lost a game since January 21 against Maine. This also includes championships in the 60th Annual Beanpot Tournament and the Hockey East Conference Tournament. Altogether, the Eagles have won 17 straight games.

In the first NCAA Tournament game, Chris Kreider scored a pair of goals and Parker Milner stopped 20 Air Force shots to lead the Eagles to a 2-0 win over the Falcons. In the quarterfinal game against Minnesota-Duluth, Milner recorded another shut out, stopping 33 shots against the defending national champions en route to a 4-0 victory. Four different Eagles scored in the victory.

The game against Minnesota will be Thursday at 8 p.m. and will be played at Tampa Bay Times Forum. Television coverage of the game will be provided by ESPN2.
