Dwight Howard Wants Completely New Coaching Staff, According To Report

Stay connected for news and updates

Over the past few days rumors have started to fly that Stan Van Gundy may not be returning to coach the Orlando Magic next season, and that a change would be just fine with Dwight Howard. Now it appears that Van Gundy might not be the only name on the chopping block. According to a report from WKMG via Orlando Pinstriped Post says that Howard might want an entirely new coaching staff, not just a change at the top.

"In order for Dwight Howard to sign a contract extension this summer with the Orlando Magic," David Pingalore's sourced report reads in part, "team owners will have to fire head coach Stan Van Gundy, as well as his coaching staff."

Is it even possible that he has friction with every single member of the coaching staff? Maybe he just wants a completely fresh start, and this would certainly qualify as that.
