The news keeps trickling out about the Stan Van Gundy-Dwight Howard situation. Orlando general manager Otis Smith said in an interview Thursday that Van Gundy will remain the head coach for now.
Otis Smith: "Stan is still our coach, Dwight is still a player. It's another chapter in the saga that’s been going on since the beg. of yr."

This right now is only good through the rest of the season so there is a chance that Van Gundy could be out of a job when the playoffs are over for Orlando. Van Gundy did coach the Magic to an Eastern Conference championship in 2009, but it does seem that the good will could be gone.
This is a potential sword of damocles that could wreck the postseason if the issues get to be overwhelming.
