Boston College Leads Minnesota 1-0 After First Period

Stay connected for news and updates

In the second semifinal matchup of the 2012 Frozen Four, the Boston College Eagles got on the board first when senior Barry Almeida found the net at 6:03 at the first period. Although the Eagles scored first, it was the Golden Gophers that got the most offensive chances in the first period.

The Gophers had 10 shots on goal, although none got passed Eagles netminder, Parker Milner. Milner made some spectacular saves in the first period to keep Minnesota off the board.
