Eagles Leading Golden Gophers 4-0 After Two Periods

Stay connected for news and updates

The second period wasn’t kind to the Minnesota Golden Gophers. Minnesota net minder Kent Patterson has faced 15 shots total, let through one in the first, and three in the second period.

Minnesota had 11 shots in the third period but is still scoreless through two periods. One of the reasons for that is the goalie on the other end, Eagle’s junior Parker Milner. Milner has faced 21 shots in the game and is standing quite tall in net. He robbed Nate Condon and Jake Hanson earlier in the period to keep Minnesota off the board.

Kevin Hayes, Chris Kreider, and Paul Carey all scored for Boston College in the middle frame.
