One of the more underrated championship games will take place tonight in Tampa Bay, when the title game of the 2012 Frozen Four is played between the Ferris State Bulldogs (26-11-5) and the Boston College Eagles (32-10-1).
Ferris State is in the championship game for the first time in school history, in only its second NCAA tournament appearance. The Bulldogs have been stellar defensively in the postseason, allowing just one goal in all three playoff games.
Boston College has won 18 straight games, and held opponents to two or fewer goals in 17 of those 18 contests. The Eagles have crushed foes in the postseason by a cumulative score of 12-1. Boston College is making its 11th championship game appearance.
