Day 2 of the 2012 Sun Belt Baseball Tournament is underway from Bowling Green, Ky. The Florida International Golden Panthers are currently playing the Troy Trojans in their opening game of the tournament. FIU starting pitcher Michael Ellis allowed a solo home run to Trojan third baseman Danny Collins in the top of the second inning to make the score 1-0 in favor of Troy, which is the score currently in the top of the fourth inning. Other than the home run allowed, Ellis has only allowed only one other hit.

The Florida Atlantic Owls play their second game of their tournament at 3 p.m. on Thursday as they match up with the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks. After winning the first game of the tournament against Western Kentucky 3-2, the Owls have an opportunity to earn the inside track out of their pool into the Sun Belt Championship game, scheduled for Sunday.
