NCAA Baseball Tournament 2012 Bracket Preview: Florida Is The No. 1 Overall Seed

After finishing the regular season with a 42-18 record, the Florida Gators come into the NCAA tournament as the No. 1 overall seed. The Gators will be hosting the Gainesville regional, which also contains No. 2 Georgia Tech (36-24), No. 3 College of Charleston (37-20) and No. 4 Bethune-Cookman (34-25).

Play in the Gainesville regional kicks off on Friday, June 1, and will extend through either June 3 or 4, depending on how the games play out. All regional play in the NCAA tournament is double elimination. The winner of the Gainesville regional will play the Raleigh regional winner in Super Regional play next weekend. All of the games in Gainesville can be seen on ESPN 3. Check out the NCAA's official site for the full tournament bracket.

Friday, June 1

1:00 p.m.: No. 3 College of Charleston Vs. No. 2 Georgia Tech

7:00 p.m.: No. 4 Bethune-Cookman Vs. No. 1 Florida

Saturday, June 2

1:00 pm.: Loser Game 1 Vs. Loser Game 2

7:00 p.m.: Winner Game 1 Vs. Winner Game 2

Sunday, June 3

12:00 p.m.: Winner Game 3 Vs. Loser Game 4

6:00 pm.: Winner Game 4 Vs. Winner Game 5

Monday, June 4

7:00 p.m.: Winner Game 6 Vs. Loser Game 6 (if necessary)
