David Price and the Rays are still facing the AL West, they'll start a weekend series against the Athletics on Friday.

The Tampa Bay Rays are coming off a series against the Seattle Mariners, and they stay at home this weekend to face the Oakland Athletics. The Rays will send David Price out to the mound for the first game of the set on Friday night. First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 pm and can be found on Sun Sports.

The Athletics don't have a sparkling record, but they always seem to outplay their talent. Didn't you see Moneyball? This could be a difficult test for the Rays as they continue to adjust to life without Evan Longoria.

We'll have plenty more on this series throughout the weekend here on SB Nation Tampa Bay, so keep it locked to this StoryStream for all the latest news and updates.
