College World Series 2012, FSU Vs. UAB: Game Time, TV Schedule And More

The Florida State Seminoles begin their march to Omaha on Friday night in Tallahassee, when the No. 3 overall seed hosts UAB. The 'Noles are the top seed in their regional and will start play in the friendly confines of Dick Howser Stadium against the Conference USA Champions. Florida State is riding a 13-game regional winning streak and they enter Friday night as the heavy favorites in their 35 straight trip to the NCAA's postseason.

The Blazers, on the other hand, enter the NCAA Tournament for just the second time in school history after winning their first ever Conference USA title. Scott Sitz will take the mound for the Seminoles while Michael Busby, who was dominant during conference tournament play, will toe the rubber for UAB. If FSU wins, they will face the winner of the early game between Samford and Mississippi State. Schedule and broadcast information below:
