Stay connected for news and updates

The Tampa Bay Lightning made a trade for a goalie Friday afternoon, as they acquired former Nashville netminder Anders Lindback in addition to center Kyle Wilson and a seventh round draft choice in next weekend's NHL Draft. The Lightning gave up goalie Sebastian Caron in addition to a pair of the Lightning's second round picks for the 2012 Draft.

Lindback, who recently turned 24, does not have a whole lot of NHL experience, as he has played in just 38 career games behind Pekka Rine. In 16 games during the 2011-2012 season, Lindback went 5-8-0 with a goals against average of 2.42.

Wilson, 27, has spent most of his career bouncing between the NHL and AHL, He played in just five games last season with the Predators where the only stats he recorded were two shots.
