Two rounds are in the books at the 2012 U.S. Open Championship, with just 72 players remaining when third round play begins Saturday from The Olympic Club in San Francisco. An American trio of Tiger Woods, Jim Furyk and David Toms find themselves tied atop the leaderboard, at 1-under par for the tournament. Woods and Furyk will play together in the final group on Saturday, teeing off at 6:05 p.m. EST.
With play occurring on the West Coast, golf fans will once again be treated to primetime coverage of the tournament. NBC will have the television coverage on Saturday, broadcasting six hours of third round play beginning at 4:00 p.m. EST. As usual, Dan Hicks and Johnny Miller will lead the coverage from the booth.
In addition to the television coverage, golf fans will be able to watch some play online via a stream at USOpen.com. From 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. EST a live stream of the eighth and 18th holes will be available.
The radio broadcast also begins at 4:00 p.m. EST and is available online and on select smartphones. Fans can find the full 2012 U.S. Open leaderboard and follow live scoring at USOpen.com.
