Marlins Vs. Rays: Will Josh Johnson's Interleague Dominance Continue On Sunday Against Tampa Bay?

Coming off a 4-3 win in 15 innings on Saturday that snapped an eight-game losing streak to their intrastate rivals, the Miami Marlins (33-32) will send interleague ace Josh Johnson to the hill on Sunday in Miami to face Tampa Bay (36-29), with Miami looking for just their third win in their last 12 contests.

Johnson (4-4, 4.27 ERA) struggled in his first six starts of the season, but he is 4-1 with a 2.70 ERA over his last seven starts. In his last eight starts against the American League, Johnson is 6-0 with a 1.74 ERA, having not lost to the A.L. since June 23, 2007.

Alex Cobb (2-3, 4.70 ERA) will take the hill for the Rays. Cobb has lost three straight for Tampa Bay, allowing at least four runs in each.

First pitch is scheduled for 1:40 p.m. EST from Tropicana Field.
