Braves Vs. Marlins Recap: Miami Blown Out 11-0

The Atlanta Braves opened their three-game set at Marlins Park with a blowout win over the Fish. It all caved in on Anibal Sanchez, who gave up seven earned runs in 6.2 innings pitched. Chad Gaudin came on late in relief and gave up four runs in the ninth inning as the Braves extended the lead for the 11-0 win.

Dan Uggla had a huge night at the dish for the Braves, ripping two homers and knocking in five of Atlanta's 11 runs. Aside from the power bursts from Uggla, Atlanta did most of their damage with station-to-station baseball, tallying 16 hits off the Miami staff. The bottom half of the order came through with the other six RBIs, as even pitcher Tim Hudson got in on the act.

Ozzie Guillen will try to even the series up on Wednesday night with Josh Johnson on the mound. Randall Delgado will get the ball for Atlanta.
