NCAA Super Regionals 2012: Florida Hosts N.C. State In Gainesville Super Regional

The Florida Gators open Super Regional play as they welcome the N.C. State Wolfpack to Gainesville.

After going undefeated in regional play, the top-ranked, No. 1 seed Florida Gators head into Super Regional play as they welcome fellow No. 1 seed North Carolina State to Gainesville. The Gators defeated Bethune Cookman and then took down Georgia Tech twice to advance to Super Regional play. The Wolfpack won an elimination match against Vanderbilt, 9-7, on Monday night to earn a place in Gainesville.

Play opens on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Each Super Regional is a best-of-three series with the winner grabbing one of the eight spots in the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska. The first two games of the Gainesville Super Regional will be shown on ESPNU while the if-necessary Game 3 will be on ESPN2.

Here's the full schedule for the Gainesville Super Regional:

June 9, 2:00 p.m.: N.C. State Vs. Florida

June 10, 1:00 p.m.: Florida Vs. N.C. State

June 11, 1:00 p.m.: Coin flip decides home/away (if necessary)
