Only 12 horses have won the Triple Crown, and no horse has won it since 1978. None of that is going to change this weekend as I'll Have Another, winner of the Preakness and the Kentucky Derby, has been withdrawn from the 2012 Belmont Stakes
Doug O'Neill, trainer for I'll Have Another, just broke the news while he was on The Dan Patrick Show:
Trainer of "I'll Have Another" told the @dpshow that the horse is out of the Belmont. "We ain't taking any chances." O'Neill said.

O'Nei'll was then asked if I'll Have Another had run its last race. His response: "If I had to wager....I would say yes."
