Rays Vs. Red Sox: TV Schedule, Start Time, Other Game Info

Stay connected for news and updates

After they evened up their series against the Boston Red Sox with a 5-3 win on Saturday behind a quality start by David Price, the Tampa Bay Devil Rays will look to start their 10-game homestand with a series win on Sunday.

The game starts at 1:40 pm EST and will be broadcasted on WDAE 620 and WAMA 1550 radio and Sun Sports TV.

The Rays will hand the ball to James Shields to try to close out the Red Sox. Shields had an up-and-down first half of the season and sports an 8-5 record and a 4.17 ERA this season. He also leads all of baseball with 135 hits against him.

"I feel really good in my delivery over the last three starts," said Shields to MLB.com. "Obviously, that shows I haven't walked that many guys, but the hits need to go down and we need to win some ballgames."

Shields will face Josh Beckett, who has dominated the Devil Rays since 2007, allowing only three earned runs in 15 innings. Beckett is 4-7 with a 4.43 ERA this season.
