A report from the Miami Herald suspects that USF could be facing possible NCAA violations.
Patrick Nohe of the Miami Herald announced via Twitter on Sunday that he is going to be in Tampa this week working on a story that involves possible violations at South Florida.
Nohe has been pretty quiet about what exactly those potential violations could entail, but it is something fans of the Bulls will want to keep an eye on.
The Bulls men's basketball has been in trouble with the NCAA before, as the team faced a slew of violations under Stan Heath in 2009 when a strength coach violated NCAA rules in the courting of a transfer. The football team, however, has not faced any since joining the FBS in 2001.
