Clark Burckle, 23, is considered an underdog by most, and is receiving 33/ 1 odds to win the gold medal in the men's 200-meter breaststroke at the London games from Bovada.
After transferring from the University of Florida to the University of Arizona, Clark Burckle won the NCAA Championship in the 200-meter breaststroke during the 2010 swimming season. Despite missing the 2008 Olympics in the event and the 400-meter individual medley, Burckle will make his Olympics debut after finishing second at the 2012 United States Olympic Trials in the 200-meter breaststroke.
Clark is the younger brother of Caroline Burckle, a UF graduate, who earned a bronze medal at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, swimming in the 4x200-meter freestyle. Caroline retired from competitive swimming in 2010.
Clark Burckle, 23, is considered an underdog by most, and is receiving 33/ 1 odds to win the gold medal in the men's 200-meter breaststroke at the London games from Bovada. He qualified for the games with a time of 2:09.97, just over 2.5 seconds off the world record of 2:07.31 set by Christian Sprenger in 2009.
