The Orlando Magic wasted very little time in signing their first round draft pick to a contract. Former St. Bonaventure forward Andrew Nicholson officially signed with the team on Tuesday, according to a press release published by the team on their website.

The Magic announced that Nicholson will play in the 2012 AirTran Airways Summer Orlando Pro League at the Amway Center from July 9-13.

The physics graduate averaged 17.1 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.98 blocks per game in 123 career collegiate games, earning all Atlantic-10 honors in all four seasons at St. Bonaventure. He was named conference player of the year his senior year where he helped lead St. Bonaventure to their first NCAA tournament appearance since 2000.
