The Tampa Bay Rays open a three game series against the Minnesota Twins on Friday. Jeremy Hellickson will start for the Rays on Friday.

Ever since Evan Longoria returned the lineup for the Tampa Bay Rays, the Rays have been building momentum heading towards the end of the season. They are currently on a three game winning streak, looking for their first four-game winning streak in about two months as they open a three-game series against the Minnesota Twins.

The Twins will counter with pitcher Cole De Vries (2-2, 3.81). In his last start against the Boston Red Sox, De Vries went seven innings, allowing two runs on four hits and striking out five.

The game is scheduled for an 8:05 p.m. first pitch from Target Field in Minneapolis, Minn. Television coverage will be provided by Sunshine Sports with radio coverage provided by WFLA 970 AM and WGES 680 AM.
