Team USA Vs. Spain Basketball, 2012 Olympics Gold Medal Game: Time, TV Coverage & More

Many predicted that the American men's basketball team, with its star studded lineup, would be taking on the Spanish team in the gold medal round at the 2012 London Olympics. That game is happening on Sunday at 10 a.m. Eastern.

Team USA was marched through a long list of opponents in the Olympics, winning by narrow margins and big gaps on the scoreboard. They beat Argentina in the semifinals to advance to the gold medal game against Spain. LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Carmelo Anthony all scored in double figures in the last game and will be leaned upon to help bring home the gold.

Led by Pau Gasol, the Spanish team beat Russia in the semifinals to advance this far. This is a rematch of the gold medal game from the 2008 Summer Olympics, a game the United States won 118-107.

Sunday's gold medal game will be broadcast on the NBC Network. It will also be available online via live stream at NBCOlympics.com.
