Chad Johnson Arrest: Evelyn Lozada Gives Sworn Statement, According To Report

Stay connected for news and updates

The story of Chad Johnson's alleged head-butting of his wife, Evelyn Lozada has become a bit clearer with the release of the police statement detailing what actually happened.

A new report by Miami Herald columnist Armando Salguero says that Lozada has submitted a sworn statement to police, and intends to press charges.

This report conflicts with earlier information that Lozada wasn't thinking of cooperating with police and going forward with prosecuting the Dolphins wide receiver.

Johnson posted his bond of $2,500 in a court appearance Sunday morning and he is expected to be back in practice with the Dolphins later in the day. There has not been a date announced for another hearing.
